Well, I'm baaaa-aaaack!! :) What a difference it has been, this second year out of the country. I was able to come back almost 2 whole weeks early, and spend time at the beach...before the first day of work!
The pretty girl to left has made it really rough to be away this year!! This is my sweet niece, Nora! (I'm TRYING to guilt-trip her parents into bringing her for a visit!!)
SPEAKING OF VISIT...who's game?! Beth and I have an extra bedroom, with a bed!!! And we cook...a lot! AND...um...AND....well, just come!! :)
This year, I am taking on the Leadership role for WyldLife at SCS. I am super excited to get things rolling! There are 7-8 of us who will be running clubs, Bible studies, and random FUN for the SCS middle-schoolers. Beginning with an Open Gym/Strongburger Night at school on Wednesday. What is STRONGBURGER, you say?! Well, there is this van that parks on the side of the road in Santiago which serves the BEST BURGER in town (a HIGHLY debatable topic amongst the Americans...and most Dominicans). They will be driving their van '0' burgers right onto the school lawn, setting up shop for hungry students and leaders!! :)

In 2 weeks, we will be heading back up to Pico Escondito for this year's Young Life/WyldLife Leadership Training weekend!! (Again...pictures WILL be posted!)
